Stuffing ourselves at Sizzler in Torrance

You drive by 5 times a week, mention it maybe once every month, trying to remember the last time you went. And it’s that one time you’re driving by and randomly get the urge and shout out..”Sizzzler”??? It’s familiar, it’s homey, it’s not too spicy or too bland. It brings back memories…and stories. Today it’s a salad bar lunch and cheese bread! (Remember the cheese bread)? Our first round included alittle spaghetti with meatballs, carnitas,

I ordered the Pastrami Melt (pastrami-rama entry #1). My partner and the keeper

El Torito, Redondo Beach for brunch

Well, Sunday brunch is always fun. Especially a brunch with bottomless mimosas. I’ll start with the location….Redondo Beach Pier. We asked for a window booth and they sat us with a smile.

So, Ciao on Balboa in Newport is our stop. We started with calamari. (Yes CALAMARI) and an amazing Malbec…Diseno). Rosario, our waitress/bartender/somaliiar recommended the Malbec. And glad she did.
