Full and Tipsy Pastrami-Rama (our First Annual)

Announcing: Full and Tipsy Pastrami-Rama 2013!! We here at Full and Tipsy are big ( VERY BIG) fans of a good pastrami. Sooooo, why not try to find the best one out there. Oh, we’ve had a few and already have some favorites of our own. And we know there has to be one or two out there that’ll move us to tears and feel poetic. Send us any suggestions you have!

Ciao, Newport Beach, Balboa Island

So, Ciao on Balboa in Newport is our stop. We started with calamari. (Yes CALAMARI) and an amazing Malbec…Diseno). Rosario, our waitress/bartender/somaliiar recommended the Malbec. And glad she did. She’s been beyond friendly and beyond helpful. And we are rooting for her to win their contest!! We ordered New York Pizza with Pepperoni and spaghetti and meatballs. My old stand by

Rockwell Table and Stage, Los Angeles

Just sat down outside, gorgeous day, mimosas in hand. DJ spinning a nice outdoor brunchy mix. (Which included some Michael Jackson, Tribe Called Quest, kajagoogoo and even TEQUILA ) The patio is full, but not crowded, comfortable. And they are confident enough in their meals. No salt and pepper shakers on the tables.

Holy crap! Boston’s wings are wow

Well let me start by saying the Boneless Buffalo Wings at Boston’s (in Rancho Cucamonga) are ridiculous! They have a few different options, but I decided to keep it real and go with the buffalo sauce. Which tastes original. (Not from a bottle ). Also added a Blue Moon, which even added to the flavor. Cabo Cantina, West Hollywod

Out here at Cabo Cantina in Weho, drinking some mimosas (bottomless til 3:00!!!) Crowd is light, but all seen to be having a good time. Five Tvs outside (which is where we are on this stunning day)! Menu looks like Fiesta Cantina…a lot. They must be related or ummm? 2:04 – Steak Nachos and our second mimosa just arrived. Mine is almost gone already. Shhh, I’m thirsty! Chile Red, Rancho Cucamonga

So running errands and have a few minutes to grab lunch (and a beer). I’ll just start by saying the Albondigas Is amazing! And the tacos…wow. You get the option of hard, soft, or medium shell. And of course, I go medium! Chicken and beef. I’ve been here before and ordered To-go…decided to sit and check it out today. (Actually hoped I would find the NFL playoff game. Go Patriots!
